ISEA shall create synergy among civil society resource institutions and networks involved and interested in social entrepreneurship research, education, model building and advocacy in the Philippines and key countries representing different country-contexts in Asia.
ISEA shall harness the support of social investors in the region’s development and business community to sustain the momentum, consolidate and build on the intellectual, human and social capital generated by AIM-ACE’s Social and Development Entrepreneurship Program.
ISEA shall pro-actively build bridges with entrepreneurs and business organizations engaged in the practice and advocacy of corporate citizenship or open to discovering creative interfaces with social entrepreneurship to promote mutual learning and the development of innovative business models.

What We Do
Knowledge Creation. ISEA produces pioneering research, develop tools and guidelines, and support model building initiatives, strengthen and promote mutual learning, policy development, and advocacy in the Philippines and key countries representing different country-contexts in Asia.
Capacity Development. ISEA has a solid track record in undertaking capacity building for practitioners and supporters of social enterprises. It has created network of fellows and partners that design and deliver these capacity building programs as faculty, mentors and coaches. Among the courses that it has demonstrated the capability to deliver are: Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship, SE Financial Management and Social Return on Investment, Learning Session and Planning on the Benchmarks for Transformational Partnerships and Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) in the agricultural value chains, Orientation and WEE Planning Seminar-Workshop for SMEs, SEs and Corporate Businesses, and Measuring Social Enterprise Impact and Benchmarking. ISEA also offers learning sessions and training for interested individuals and institutions wanting to learn more about the practice of social entrepreneurship in Asia.
Platform Building. As ISEA contribution to the acceleration of the achievement of SDGs in Asia, ISEA maintained five (5) social entrepreneurship-led platforms on sustainable livelihoods and women’s economic empowerment, decent work for all, sustainable consumption and production and circular economy, rural revitalization and youth, health for all, and technological innovations for sustainable development. These platforms serve as learning platforms, advocacy and policy mechanism and showcasing of impact of social enterprises in the region.
