ISEA joins the Inclusive Business Models in Agriculture and Food Systems Regional Forum, promoting the Transformational Benchmarks and Guidelines

On 01 December 2022, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) also invited ISEA President Marie Lisa Dacanay in an Inclusive Business Models in Agriculture and Food Systems Regional Forum where she was asked to speak in a panel on Measuring and Managing the Impact of Inclusive Business. Highlighted in her intervention was the Benchmarks and Scorecards for social enterprises (SEs), small & medium enterprises (SMEs), and Corporate Agribusiness developed under the GRAISEA programme as an important tool that measure the performance of private sector as they relate to women and men small producers in their agricultural value chains. 

Similarly, ISEA President Marie Lisa Dacanay served as panelist during Spotlight 7 during the Effective Development Co-operation Summit on December 12-14, 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland. She shared the Benchmarks and Guidelines for Transformational Partnerships and Women’s Economic Empowerment in Agricultural Value Chains that the WE LIVE FOOD Platform. She highlighted that the interests of the poor and marginalized need to be at the center of the discourse on transparency and accountability in multi-stakeholder partnerships.
