ISEA participates at the 8th SouthEast Asia Multi-stakeholder Forum on the SDGs in Bangkok, Thailand

On November 11-14, ISEA Supervising Program and Development Cooperation Specialist, Gomer Padong participated at the 8th SouthEast Asia Multi-stakeholder Forum on the SDGs in Bangkok on Nov 11-14, 2024 representing The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA) and Asia Pacific Regional Civil Society Engagement Mechanism (APRCEM).

Mr Padong also moderated the session on SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals with the theme, “Empowering Communities with Digital Connectivity and Collaboration for Sustainable Growth. The session examined how multi-stakeholder partnerships are enabling sustainable development in geographically disadvantaged areas through digital connectivity where traditional internet access is limited. The discussion featured how AI and digital tools are improving access to essential services such as e-government portals, social services, and internet connections in remote regions.

ISEA serves as the focal point for social and community enterprise constituency of APRCEM.
