



On September 5 and 6, key representatives from national government agencies (NGAs), CSOs, LGUs, and academe gathered to review the National Care Economy Framework (NCEF) Zero Draft. ISEA representatives joined the face-to-face event co-organized by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and Oxfam Pilipinas, with support from Investing in Women (IW). The activity aimed to ensure the framework meets the needs of care workers while influencing policy and public dialogue on the care economy.The discussions also focused on critical areas of the zero draft, including the paid care economy, the care and climate nexus, unpaid care and domestic work, and Institutional Mechanisms for LGU Care Services.
