The Rural Revitalization, Youth and Social Entrepreneurship Platform is organizing an online conversation entitled: “Reimagining Rural Development in the 21st Century: Perspectives on Rural Revitalization, Social Entrepreneurship and Youth” on 19 July 2022 from 15:00-17:30 (GMT+8) via Zoom. This conversation will also serve as the launch of the Platform, timed during the week-long commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM), one of the co-conveners of the Platform.  

In addition to PRRM, the Co-Conveners of the Rural Revitalization, Youth and Social Entrepreneurship Platform, who are organizing the forum and launch are:  Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA), Sources for Action (SFA) and Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN).  Members of the Platform include Change Fusion Institute (Thailand), International Institute for Rural Reconstruction (IIRR), and DHAN Foundation (India).

The event invites practitioners, policy makers, scholars and students of sustainable rural development and social entrepreneurship.  Participants from student and youth organizations, social enterprises, civil society organizations, academic institutions, government agencies, multilateral agencies, the private sector and other stakeholders shall also be invited to participate.
