Last September 1, we had a face-to-face roundtable discussion (RTD) on Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Policies, Programs, and Initiatives in the Philippines in Quezon City, Metro Manila. The activity was attended by more than 25 social enterprises (SEs) and organizations from the public and private sector. It was followed by another RTD via Zoom last September 5 with other SEs, private organizations, and government agencies.
These activities are implemented by ISEA and Oxfam Pilipinas under the Knowledge Hub on WEE Network – Philippines (KWEEN-P) that aims to promote and strengthen WEE initiatives through knowledge and learning exchanges towards enhancing women’s ability to gain access and control over productive resources and to be recognized as fully participating economic actors.
