As part of their 20th anniversary, EMES International Research Network organised several online book series presentations. Their aim is to display and provide a window for our diversified research publications in the EMES community that span a variety of subjects and novelties, theoretical and empirical framings, local and global contexts as well as junior and senior authors. This new series aimed to connect SE researchers with ideas, so we have gathered prominent researchers in the field working on a range of topics. With this, the participants got a chance to present their work in a webinar format and then engage in lively discussions with the audience during the session.

On of these #20EMESAnniversary Book Series Presentations was conducted last January 18, 2023 (Wednesday) 12:00 – 1:00 PM CET (7:00 – 8:00 PM GMT+8) dubbed as “ICSEM-Empower-SE books II: Social Enterprise in Asia” with ISEA President, Dr Marie Lisa Dacanay will be one of the participants. ISEA President, Marie Lisa Dacanay shared her presentation on “Social Enterprise in the Philippines: Social Enterprises with the Poor as Primary Stakeholders” during the #20EMESAnniversary Celebration’s book series presentation.
