The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA), in partnership with Social Value Japan, Bina Swadaya, and Dompet Dhuafa held a seminar workshop on Social Enterprise Capacity and Case Development on Development Indexing and Social Return on Investment in Indonesia last July 17 to 18, 2017 at Wisma Hijau Pusdiklat Bina Swadaya, West Java, Indonesia.

The two-day activity was intended to increase appreciation and capacity of Indonesian social enterprise practitioners and their resource institutions to measure their social impact using the tools of Social Return on Investment and Development Indexing.

The seminar-workshop had 34 participants coming from ISEA members and partners. It was expected that beyond this seminar-workshop, two new cases on DI and SROI will be ready for presentation during the ISEA-organized Second Social Enterprise Advocacy and Leveraging Conference in Bali, Indonesia that will carry the theme, “Measuring Social Enterprise Impact.”

This capacity building workshop was made possible with the support from the Japan Foundation Asia Center, Oxfam, and Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
