ISEA holds a workshop on Development Indexing and Social Return on Investment in Ateneo

The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA) organized another workshop on Social Enterprise Capacity and Case Development on Development Indexing and Social Return on Investment. This time the activity was in partnership with Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship (ACSENT), held on July 30 to 31, 2017 in Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City, Philippines.

The activity was able to increase the appreciation and capacity of Philippine-based 30 social enterprise practitioners and their resource institutions on measuring social enteprrise impact using the tools of Social Return on Investment and Development Indexing.

Through this seminar-workshop and succeeding process, ISEA started a collaboration with Gandang Kalikasan, Inc./Human Heart Nature to evolve its own development index that measure their impact among its employees. This was geared to be completed in time for the ISEA-organized Second Social Enterprise Advocacy and Leveraging Conference in Bali, Indonesia. The activity was supported by the Japan Foundation Asia Center, Oxfam, and Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
