ISEA President shares “Perspectives and Tools for Reimagining Agricultural Extension towards Sustainability” during the first leg of the Agricultural Investment E-Conference Webinar Series

As part of the Agricultural Investment E-Conference Webinar Series, ISEA President, Dr Marie Lisa Dacanay presented the “Perspectives and Tools for Reimagining Agricultural Extension towards Sustainability” during its first leg entitled “Conference I: Reimagining Agricultural Value Chain” last January 22, 2021 at 2:00pm to 4:00pm (GMT+8), via Zoom.

In her presentation, she shared the AVC best practices and insights on the ISEA benchmarking research, which featured the Benchmarks for Transformational Partnerships and Women Economic Empowerment in Agricultural Value Chains (BTP WEE in AVCs).

The webinar explored how proactive, responsive, and transformative policy formulation will deepen value chain integration of agriculture stakeholders through innovative financing models, increased infrastructure investments, and dynamic linkages between research and application.

The webinar series is organized by European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), together with its Agricultural Committee, is a three-part webinar series that will ‘deep dive on policy updates and highlight policy recommendations on three high-priority areas of sustainable agricultural development for the European-Philippines business community, namely value chain development, regulatory processes, and market access.’ (Source: ECCP Facebook Page)
