ISEA organizes a constituency webinar on Social Entrepreneurship-SDG Platforms as part of Asia Pacific Peoples’ Forum 2020

Last November 28, the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA) organized a Constituency Webinar on “Social Entrepreneurship-SDG Platforms: Towards Building Back Fairer in Asia and the Pacific” as part of the Asia Pacific Peoples’ Forum. This webinar was led by the Social and Community Enterprise Constituency of Asia Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism (AP-RCEM).

The multi-stakeholder platforms (MSPs) are meant to focus on the recovery of the social enterprise sector in Asia-Pacific towards fulfilling their role in accelerating the achievement of the SDGs, especially the 9 SDGs linked to pandemic recovery.

ISEA Members and Partners presented their respective MSPs: ISEA President Lisa Dacanay presented WE LIVE FOOD in AVCs (Women’s Empowerment, Livelihoods and Food in Agricultural Value Chains), Haryo Mojopahit of Yayasan Dompet Dhuafa (Indonesia) presented Health for All, Thea Soriano of ASPBAE (Regional) and Jerome Montemayor of WFTO-Asia (Regional) presented Decent Work for All in Sustainable Value Chains, Lanying Zhang of Sources for Action (China) presented Rural Revitalization, Youth and Social Entrepreneurship, and Albert Teo (Hong Kong) presented the MSP on Technological Innovations for Sustainable Development.
