Dacanay shares the benchmarks for Transformational Partnerships and Women’s Empowerment in AVCs on the PPSA Webinar

As a background for the activity, it stated that, “24% of inclusive businesses in the Philippines are operating along agricultural value chains (AVCs). There are also a wealth of organizations, tools and guidelines available to help businesses effectively engage the ‘bottom of the pyramid’. However, much more needs to be done to make inclusive business models the norm.”

Last November 18, ISEA President, Dr Marie Lisa Dacanay joined the Philippines Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture (PPSA) on their webinar session on “Measuring Effectiveness of Value Chain Projects towards Inclusive and Sustainable Impact.”

As one of the speakers, Dacanay shared some insights on promoting inclusive value chains, as well as the benchmarks for Transformational Partnerships and Women’s Empowerment in AVCs as framework for Building Back Fairer and Multistakeholder Platform on WE LIVE FOOD in AVCs.
